Why we clean this way
We did not choose this to be fashionable
Kevin’s wife, Christine, developed Multiple Chemical Sensitivity after being severely exposed to chemicals. It got worse over time — badly enough that when he came home from work, she could not come near him. The residue on his clothes was enough to leave her nauseous and aching, sometimes in bed for days.
Then the same cleaning agents he had used for years started affecting him too.
So the whole method was rebuilt around products that were safer to be around, finished with a rinse of clean water and nothing else. Word got round. The calls started coming from people with allergies and sensitivities, from parents, from anyone who had simply had enough of harsh cleaners in their home.
The difference
Most cleaners stop before the rinse
A lot of carpet cleaning finishes with detergent still in the line. Kevin’s way of putting it: that is like running your clothes through the washer, interrupting it after the wash cycle, and putting them straight in the dryer.
Our last pass is a True Rinse — clean water, nothing added. Less detergent stays behind, so the carpet is not left stiff or crunchy, and there is less residue sitting in the pile attracting the next lot of soil.
It means longer between cleans, which is a strange thing for a carpet cleaner to want. We would rather you called us when you actually need us.

The reasoning is simple enough. We have hired plenty of services for our own home that felt rushed to get a bill in our hands, or drawn out to raise one — and we were never quite happy at the end of it. We would rather do the job we would want done in our own house, and be happy to pay for it ourselves.

Common questions
Before you book
What does True Rinse actually mean?
Our final pass uses clean water and nothing else. No product is added to it. Most cleaners finish with a detergent still in the line, which is a bit like stopping your washing machine after the wash cycle and putting the clothes straight in the dryer. Rinsing the detergent out means less residue left in the pile, so the carpet feels softer and has less in it to attract soil.
Is it really safe for children and pets?
That is the whole reason the business works this way. Our cleaning agents are chosen to be gentler than conventional ones, and the True Rinse takes most of what we use back out again. If a particular spot needs something stronger, we will tell you before we use it and make several extra rinse passes over that area.
What is the No Quit Commitment?
Every job is looked at on its own and cleaned until there is nothing more we can do. If it takes longer than estimated, the invoice does not go up. You will not be charged more than the quote because a job turned out to be harder than it looked.
